The decision to become a counselor for me was not an easy one. Initially I studied law and practised as a lawyer for several years. Not feeling fulfilled in this capacity, I went back to university to qualify as a secondary school teacher. It was during my time teaching that I realised that what I really wanted to teach people was how to make their lives happier and wholer: how to improve self-esteem and self-image and to make the most of their gifts and attributes. So it was back to university for me (they say 3rd time lucky don't they). This is how I was led to counselling, and I really love my work .
